Собрание Северной Ирландии (автономный парламент Северной Ирландии; несколько раз создавался и упразднялся; существовал в 1973-1974 гг., 1982-1986 гг.; современное Собрание впервые было избрано в 1998 г.; при формировании Собрания и исполнительных органов власти использовалась система, позволяющая различным противоборствующим партиям участвовать в управлении; деятельность Собрания приостанавливалась четырежды: с 11 февраля по 30 мая 2000 гг., 10 августа 2001 г. на 24 часа, 22 сентября 2001 г. на 24 часа и с 14 октября 2002 г. по настоящий момент; последнее приостановление деятельности было осуществлено в результате обвинений в шпионаже в пользу Ирландской республиканской армии, выдвинутых юнионистами против республиканцев; несмотря на приостановление работы парламента, в ноябре 2003 г. прошли парламентские выборы)See:
